Teddy Bridgewater reportedly staying with Saints

Bridgewater reportedly agreed to sign with the Saints and remain the team's backup quarterback, but no deal could be official until 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

A source has told The Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Clarence Hill Jr. that Bridgewater is well aware that there's no guarantee Payton will still be in New Orleans after the upcoming season.

Miami is expected to move on from Ryan Tannehill.

That may not have been the case had Bridgewater signed in Miami. Bridgewater looked to be in line to land the starting job in New Orleans after Brees' retirement, but it looks like he's considering other options.

The Dolphins are making a last-ditch attempt to lure quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to Miami before he signs a contract to return to the New Orleans Saints. He looked great with the Jets in preseason a year ago and the Saints were willing to give up a third-round pick for Bridgewater.
