One of the key changes coming to the game is an upgrade to 4K resolution with HDR support on Windows PCs, the Xbox One X, and PlayStation 4 Pro.

The game will be available to anyone with the Odyssey Season Pass but you will also be able to grab it as a standalone release if you wish.

Other then the fact that a New Game Plus mode is making its way to the latest Assassin's Creed title, not much else has been revealed.

Ubisoft have announced that Assassin's Creed III Remastered will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 29. Featuring the series' first dip into American history, Assassin's Creed 3 told the stories of father and son, Haytham and Connor Kenway. This could be the flawless opportunity to pick up the title for those who may have missed out on its original release, or for those who have not yet played Liberation, which was initially a PS Vita exclusive.

Assassin's Creed Origins similarly received a New Game Plus mode after its launch, which allowed players to carry over crafting materials, abilities, and even ability points. The game is not going to arrive on Nintendo Switch, we don't know why Ubisoft is skipping the Nintendo Switch. Now, it seems that AC3's arrival on Switch could be happening after all.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered will include all previously released DLCs such as Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets and The Tyranny of King Washington along with Assassin's Creed III Liberation Remastered.
