I can't do anything about struggling Sanchez, admits Solskjaer

13 February 2019

Asked about the 30-year-old's form, United's interim boss Solskjaer strangely admitted that he can not help the forward.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær on Tuesday evening asked Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez to step up after an underwhelming performance against PSG in the Champions League.

The 30-year-old replaced Jesse Lingard at half-time but failed to make an impact as the Red Devils fell at a 2-0 defeat after goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe.

Martial required treatment after suffering a groin issue late in the first half and while he soldiered on until the break, the French worldwide failed to come out after the interval after being replaced by Juan Mata at half time.

Since his arrival at United, Sanchez has scored just five goals in 37 matches in all competitions.

GO Snapshot feature coming to Pokemon Go soon
Niantic simply says that Snapshot will be arriving in Pokemon GO "soon", so it sounds like we won't be able to use it right away. Pokémon Go has announced details of a new AR photo mode feature to encourage players to get creative with their collection.

"You can't give that [the injuries] as a reason [why we lost] because we have players like Mata and Sanchez to come on and they're quality players", Solskjaer told BT Sport.

Jesse and Anthony have proven crucial in Solskjaer's short reign so far but may now be forced to watch from the sidelines.

"Juan [Mata] got on the ball to create a few bits but we maybe need to find a new way to play when Anthony and Jesse are out". We have to bounce back, we're in a tournament and the Champions League is always going to be hard. We have the league and the FA Cup, so many games, but I'm not afraid of the reaction in the dressing room.

"We go down to Paris and we will give it a go".
