Hollywood's award season was in full swing late Sunday, with Alfonso Cuaron's "Roma" - an ode to the director's childhood in 1970s Mexico City - the big victor at the Critics' Choice Awards.

"I want the other woman up here", she confidently said, prompting the announcement of Patricia's victory.

The award comes after Gaga's upset at the Golden Globe Awards, at which Glenn Close unexpectedly took out best actress in a drama for The Wife.

In the television category, the stars of Killing Eve, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story all took awards home.

Other fans were stoked that both actresses were recognised. Leading the nominations with 14 nods is The Favourite - starring Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone - including best picture, best acting ensemble and best director for Yorgos Lanthimos.
