Police in Florida have released terrifying dashcam video of the moment an out-of-control auto crashed into the back of an officer's vehicle and burst into flames.

And the Florida Highway Patrol drove the point home, as WPEC reported, by sharing a dramatic video from last November on I-75.

Authorities said the trooper had stopped his patrol SUV with his lights activated behind a disabled vehicle on Interstate 75 in Fort Myers.

FHP officials released dash-cam video from a November incident in which a auto is seen slamming into the back of a trooper's vehicle while they were assisting a driver.

The trooper, who had minor injuries, rushed to the driver's aid as the vehicle burst into flames.

San Francisco Giants' Stadium Renamed to Oracle Park
The San Francisco Giants' ballpark will have a new name beginning Thursday. Oracle will replace AT&T as the team's naming-rights partner.

Despite the violent wreck and being injured, video shows Verbiest going to Espinoza's vehicle and pulling him out of his auto to safety.

The trooper managed to get out of his own auto to check on the driver.

The incident was captured on camera from the trooper's vehicle.

When he realized Espinoza was trapped, the trooper was filmed desperately trying to open the driver's vehicle to help him escape.

This crash also serves as a reminder for drivers to remain focused behind the wheel and to follow the Florida move over law which states, when approaching a stopped emergency vehicle on a multiple lane highway, that vehicle must vacate the lane closest to the emergency vehicle, the FHP press release states. 1st responders perform a critical service on the side of the road, plz move over so they can safely do their job!
