Batshuayi to leave Valencia 'in the coming hours or days'

11 January 2019

Batshuayi signed for Chelsea from Marseille for £33million back in 2016 but failed to nail down a consistent spot in the first team.

The Belgian striker proved a hit at Borussia Dortmund past year but failed to replicate his goalscoring form in La Liga, where he netted only once.

Alemany said via the Telegraph: "Batshuayi's situation is very clear".

The Belgian global had a fairly unsuccessful spell with the La Liga side, scoring just three goals from 23 appearances in all competitions.

Everton, who already have defender Kurt Zouma on loan from Stamford Bridge, cannot take Batshuayi on loan due to restrictions on the numbers of players one club can have from another.

As well as Michael Cera, there's also Dylan O'Brien, Rosario Dawson, Ed O'Neil, Awkwafina , Steven Yeun and many more. The trailer highlights his power, as Weird City citizens question, yet go along with his futuristic perspectives.

Indeed, Valencia boss Marcelino saw his side fall to a shock 2-1 Copa del Rey defeat to Segunda Division outfit Sporting Gijon on Tuesday, a match in which Batshuayi was hooked at half time.

"The player knows and we hope to reach a solution soon for the good of all parties".

"We are expecting an exit in the few hours or days". "He is leaving and it's now a matter of negotiation".

There has been no indication from Chelsea that they want to keep hold of him, despite the club's striker struggles with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud. Even with our dire need for a new striker, it's hard to see him returning to West London and joining up with the Chelsea squad.

The Belgium global joined the Spanish club on a season-long deal but has scored just three goals in 23 appearances.
