Steelers-Ravens II: Different month, same pressure to win

11 November 2018

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger wore specialized cleats paying tribute to the Tree of Life synagogue shooting victims during pregame warm-ups Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. Heading into Sunday's game, Harbaugh was 44-44 in the regular season since 2013.

After enduring nine straight weeks of football to get this far, the tired, aching Ravens will gladly take a week off before attempting to end a three-game losing streak.

This year's team jumped to a 4-2 start but has since stumbled.

But the Ravens are in the midst of a serious dry spell, and owner Steve Bisciotti acknowledged last February that firing Harbaugh after the 2017 season "was certainly a consideration". Entering a long-awaited bye week, Harbaugh spoke about how badly the Ravens needed the break to rest and heal.

"When I came in I had the playbook and said, 'It will be on my desk and what you do with it is on you, '" Smith recalled.

"If you do math, and you've been through these playoff things, it gets sticky if you're 9-7", Smith said.

Of course, we all know that the Ravens have already secured a victory against the Steelers earlier this season in dominant fashion.

Sears, Kmart Closing More Stores In February
A Sears Holdings spokesperson could not be reached immediately to comment on the closure or the number of workers affected. Sears Holdings is shutting down another 40 stores as the once dominant player in retail struggles to survive in bankruptcy.

"This week is going to help us". "And when we had a chance to look back through it, we were pretty critical of what we did and what we didn't do". He does not, however, apologize for how he'd guided the Ravens to this point.

Meanwhile, Harbaugh has been coaching the Ravens for 11 years. "So, there are no regrets. We'll keep fighting. That's what we do".

Pittsburgh's breakout running back scored his 10th touchdown on a 7-yard catch in the first quarter at Baltimore.

Coach Mike Tomlin said the toughest part for the coaches is trying to get the gameplan implemented on such a short week.

Down by two touchdowns and facing a potential two-game deficit in the AFC North, the Ravens reacted. We've got seven games left. We haven't won them. "I think the biggest thing we need to do is get healthy and get fresh". Coming off a 36-21 loss at Carolina, Baltimore can jump into contention with its first sweep of the Steelers since 2015.

Players typically wear tribute cleats for pregame warm-ups only, or else they face a fine for an National Football League uniform violation. Now it's Baltimore's turn to sit back, reload, and tweak the playbook before hosting Cincinnati on November 18.
