Avengers 4 might be MCUs longest movie ever, Joe Russo

11 November 2018

During an Instagram chat with fans co-director Joe Russo, who was promoting his new bar Duello in LA, said, "The running time on Avengers 4 is now sitting right at three hours". "It's now sitting right at three hours", Russo said on his Instagram Stories page via CNET. "We'll see if that holds", Russo told THR.

He was conducting an Instagram live on Thurday to promote his new bar in Los Angeles when he revealed that the film now sits at three hours.

The still-untitled Avengers 4 is set to be the longest Marvel film to date, according to co-director Joe Russo. We know that there will be time-travel involved.

Oil prices slump into ‘bear market’ after five weeks of losses
Trump has repeatedly has asked oil producers to pump more crude to lower prices. The U.S. crude CLc1 rose 58 cents to $62.79.

With that much editing left on the table, that run-time will most likely change a bit, but it appears the long-awaited conclusion to the events that began in Avengers: Infinity War will be a lengthy one.

Granted, we're expecting various edits to shave off a fair few minutes when it comes to the final cut, but at present, Avengers 4 will be the longest film in the MCU.

Russo went onto confirm that they're probably only halfway through the entire process. "Those require a lot of time and thought and energy and effort, and we're very early in the phase of getting VFX done", he added. "We've just started work with Alan Silvestri (the movie's composer) on the score, and we're still editing picture at this point". Similarly, "Avengers 4" is scheduled to come out May 3, 2019, so people have just assumed a teaser would come out this month, but now that's up in the air. Still, it seems like the film is definitely worth all the hype.
