Spice Girls to play Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium as part of reunion tour

The Spice Girls have announced a tour of United Kingdom stadiums next year - but will be without Victoria Beckham.

In a video shared on the band's newly-created Twitter account, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton are seen in a mock news broadcast, confirming the details of their tour.

The last time the Wannabe singers performed together was way back in 2012, at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.

Victoria Beckham has opted not to join the tour but Mel is still hopeful she'll make an appearance on the tour at some point.

'I know they will put on an unbelievable show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!

We wonder if she'll be in the crowd and doing the moves to Stop when the Spice Girls come to the UK? She married soccer star David Beckham in 1999 and the couple shares four children - sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper.

Then, to prove they've all still got it - as if they ever even lost it - they sang a few bars of Spice Up Your Life, before announcing the tour dates.

After the photo set the Internet ablaze with reunion talk, the group issued a statement released by Beckham's publicist, Jo Milloy.
