Rihanna doesn't want her music to be played at Trump's rallies

05 November 2018

Rihanna seemingly found out from Washington Post's White House bureau chief Philip Rucker, who tweeted about hearing the artist's 2008 track "Don't Stop The Music" blared at a Trump rally in Chattanooga, as aides tossed free Trump t-shirts to the crowd.

Everyone was loving it - except for Rihanna, apparently.

Not for much longer.me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up philip!

Rihanna's pledge comes after announcing her support for Democratic Florida gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum. And VOTE YES on Amendment 4 to restore voting rights to folks who have already paid their debt to society. And with just one day before the midterms in the United States on November 6, she is not letting up.

"If you're exhausted of feeling like you don't matter in the political process", Rihanna wrote in an Instagram post.

Spacewatch: Nasa retires planet hunter after it runs out of fuel
When Kepler was still being brainstormed by NASA 35 years ago, there was no proof of any planets beyond our solar system. NASA's prolific Kepler Space Telescope has run out of fuel , agency officials announced on October 30, 2018.

One singer, however, was less than thrilled to learn that the president had also been using her music without permission.

Pharrell Williams also recently put a stop to Trump's use of his music, by sending him a cease and desist letter.

Meanwhile, Rose said that the band have "formally requested" that their music not be played at Trump's events, but said that the campaign is "using loopholes in the various venues' blanket performance licenses which were not intended for such craven political purposes, without the songwriters' consent".

"There was nothing "happy" about the tragedy inflicted upon our country on Saturday and no permission was granted for your use of this song for this goal", said Howard King, a lawyer for Williams. It looks like RiRi is next to hit Trump with a cease-and-desist.
