Meghan dons Aussie designer as royal couple touch down in Melbourne

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now touring their first major royal trip together, which started just as the couple announced their pregnancy.

"He asked me about my big feet, because I'm quite tall, and he said I must be built for a lifeguard", Sebastian said.

Social media has gone into overdrive after the five-year-old hugged the royal couple and adorably touched the Duke of Sussex's beard.

Meghan, who is four months pregnant, tried her hand at Australian Football League (AFL) with a handball, appearing quite natural even though she wasn't dressed for sport in towering Manolo Blahnik stilettos on the lawns of Government House.

The adorable boy also wrapped his arms around the Duchess and handed her a bunch of flowers.

Grandmother Debra Ludvig, who was wearing a tiara for the occasion, left Geelong at 5am to make it to Melbourne for some royal spotting.

Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry were being shown a display by the F1 in Schools team and were given the chance to race two miniature cars during a reception at Government House in Melbourne.

Harry then proceeded to take a photograph of Meghan and Sethunya with the youngster's phone.

Fans of Prince Harry and Meghan lined up for hours to get a glimpse of the couple in Melbourne.

Their itinerary includes a short tram ride on the world's largest urban tram network, which boasts some 250km of track.

"Definitely, just meeting them was pretty special", he said.
