Borderlands 2 VR announced for December release

10 October 2018

Borderlands 2 VR arrives on PlayStation VR on December 14.

VR development comes with a handful of considerations that developers have to keep in mind, like tackling locomotion differences and avoiding any major motion sickness triggers, so Burleson's blog offers game devs a look at some of the changes the Gearbox team had to make when bringing this particular FPS to virtual reality. This $49.99 game will give people access to the acclaimed shooter with looting elements in VR.

This seems to be the full game in VR, which seems an odd choice given that fast-paced first person shooters are usually hard to getting working comfortably. There are also multiple movement styles to enhance comfort and/or immersion, depending on if players want to use traditional VR teleport controls, or actually walk around Pandora.

Pixel 3 comes with dual front-firing speakers tuned by a GRAMMY-winning music producer to turn your phone into a powerful speaker. And in an effort to protect you from you, Google has also added Digital Wellbeing to monitor and limit your device and app usage.

"This December 14, PlayStation VR fans can look forward to the latest blockbuster experience to come to the platform with Borderlands 2 VR". It has since been made available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One as well. Single-player's not all bad, as Borderlands 2 VR will feature Bad Ass Mega Fun Time (or BAMF Time, for short), which will allow players to slow down time in the game world to prepare their next assault against the game's myriad enemies, including psychos, bullymongs, skags, and more. Those who pre-order will also get a dynamic theme as a bonus.
