Donald Trump calls former aide Omarosa a 'lowlife'

12 August 2018

This is just one of a list of claims made by Omarosa Manigault Newman in a book lifting the lid on her former boss that threatens to reduce what's left of Trump's reputation to tatters - and could even destroy his presidency.

Manigault Newman appeared Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press," which played portions of audio she claims were taped inside the Situation Room of the White House, a secure location commonly used for classified discussions where cell phones or other recording devices are barred.

Manigault Newman, who starred on Trump's show "The Apprentice", was sacked from her administration position in December amid allegations of misconduct, including trying to stage her wedding photos on White House grounds.

Manigault Newman said that Trump "never said the n-word in my presence", but in her book she cites unnamed sources who claim to know of the existence of a recording where the president uses that word on the set of "The Apprentice".

White House aide Kellyanne Conway told ABC's This Week on Sunday that the first time she heard her former colleague suggest "those bad things" was in the book.

"Hearing it changed everything for me", she told NPR reporter Rachel Martin. According to a published report by the media organization, when asked to clear up the discrepancy, the former White House aide said Martin must not have read the book.

Khan who was to take oath on 11 August, is now expected to be sworn in on 18 August, according to Pakistani media reports quoting PTI senator Faisal Javed.

"They continue to deceive this nation by how mentally declined he is".

"It is very obvious a threat. But when he talks that way, the way he does on this tape, it confirms that he is truly a racist".

After the 2016 presidential election, in an interview with the Independent Journal Review, Omarosa Manigault-Newman said that the Trump had a long memory and that his team was keeping a list of their enemies. On Saturday, Trump called Manigault Newman a "lowlife".

She also said she was inadvertently complicit in covering up Trump's perceived racism. "I had a blind spot when it came to Donald Trump". And if I didn't have these recordings, no one in America would believe me.

She added, "The president lies to the American people". "So yes I recorded myself and I have no regret about it".

"And how She pays it back is she brings a personal recording device into the situation room in the White House", he said. The White House has already slammed it as "riddled with lies and false accusations".
