The report claims that Mina and Gomes have both completed medicals for the club and will be officially confirmed as Everton players shortly. A loan move for Chelsea's Kurt Zouma was also being worked on after a deal sheet was submitted to the Premier League for the defender.

Barcelona pair Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes were joined by Brazil global Bernard at Goodison Park, before Marco Silva moved to quickly snap up Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma on a season-long loan deal.

Everton brought in three new faces on the final day of the Premier League transfer window, swooping for Brazilian midfielder Bernard from Shakhtar Donetsk and Barcelona players Yerry Mina and Andres Gomes. When I found out about this opportunity and what the manager wanted out of me I was happy.

"For me, it was really good to speak to him because I know how good he is and I feel motivated to work with him and to play for Everton, a great club".

"I spoke to Lucas and he told me all about the club, which also made me keen to come here".

Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were citizens of Saudi Arabia, and Saudi royals have always been accused of complicity in the attack. Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said Monday she "looks forward" to hearing from Riyadh about the future of the deal.

The 23-year-old Mina, who was impressive in defence at this year's World Cup in Russian Federation where he also scored three goals, will rejuvenate an ageing Everton back line while offering a threat from set-pieces at the other end of the pitch.

Everton have signed Portugal global Andre Gomes on a season-long loan from Barcelona.

The Colombian defender completed a dream move to Barcelona in the January transfer window, but could never manage to establish himself as a regular in the first-team squad.

Gomes has always been a fringe player at Barcelona, despite signing for a fee of £31m plus €20m in add-ons in 2016, with only 46 appearances made in La Liga since joining from Valencia.
