It's hard to imagine him playing with another team, since Ronaldo has pretty much become synonymous with Real Madrid.

Ronaldo won two La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns with Real after joining from Manchester United in 2009 for a then world-record fee of £80 million. Ronaldo scored the fourth in a 4-1 victory against city rivals Atlético, setting a UEFA Champions League record of 17 goals in a single season in doing so.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the oldest hat-trick scorer in World Cup history, with the Portuguese star aged 33 years and 130 days when he scored his treble against Spain - the previous oldest was Rob Rensenbrink in June 1978 for the Netherlands against Iran (30y 335d). "They have been absolutely wonderful for 9 years".

"For Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo will always be one of its greatest symbols and a unique reference for the generations to come", the club said. The Real Madrid president is ready to make a straight swap between the players this summer, and utilise the interest the Red Devils have shown in the Welsh International for the past few summers.

Ronaldo made his debut for Sporting Lisbon when he was 17.

While Juventus clean up domestic honours year in year out, the addition of Ronaldo will bolster their chances of raising the prestigious Champions League trophy.
