George Clooney reportedly injured after motorbike crash in Sardinia

10 July 2018

A photo from the Italian website La Nuova showed the car's windshield cracked.

Italian media report the accident happened in Sardinia where the U.S. actor is filming his latest TV series, Catch-22.

A photo published on La Nuova Sardegna website shows a black scooter on one side of the road, with a dark blue estate auto facing the other way, at an angle across the central reserve.

Clooney was travelling towards the set in Costa Corallina when a auto suddenly turned and struck him, according to La Nuova.

La Nuova reported he was found to have a slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one leg and arm, but his condition was not serious. Local media that had gathered at the hospital said Clooney is believed to have left through a side exit.

The new version was made by the Queen's dresser, Angela Kelly . "Did they borrow them from the Queen?" one commentator wrote. Prince Louis will be christened in the Lily Font , a silver gilt font and bowl decorated in lilies, ivy and cherubs.

Amal, 40, and George, along with their one-year-old twins, are now living in Sardinia for the summer, where he is filming his new TV series, Catch 22.

Mr Clooney has been in Sardinia for several weeks for filming of a six-part series based on Heller's 1961 novel about the USAAF during the Second World War.

It was announced in April that the multi-talented star was reducing his role in the Hulu production so he could concentrate on his directing and producing credits.

Earlier that month George was seen driving around the island on a scooter with Amal clinging on tightly behind him.

Clooney has a home on the Italian mainland, on Lake Como.
