North American trio beats Morocco to host 2026 World Cup

A full slate of World Cup action gets underway on Friday, with Spain taking on Portugal as +105 chalk in a crucial Group B clash.

Chief among those is US President Donald Trump, whose "America First" approach might score well with his electoral base but may have made the United bid's task harder than it could ever have imagined.

The North American bid projected a revenue of $11 billion for Federation Internationale de Football Association, according to a New York Times report.

The 2026 World Cup host was announced today in a vote between bids from Morocco and a "United" bid between Mexico, Canada and United States with the latter emerging victorious. "They hosted games and there were no problems".

Foxboro has hosted several worldwide soccer events, including the 1999 and 2003 FIFA Women's World Cups, the 2001 CONCACAF World Cup qualifier between the United States and Jamaica, the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the 2016 Copa America Centenario quarterfinal match between Argentina and Venezuela.

Prince Salman good-heartedly accepted the offer and the pair then returned to watch the game.

Complaints about the matter are already threatening to overshadow Sony's publicity efforts at the E3 video games show in Los Angeles.

Foxborough played host to several World Cup contests back in 1994, at Foxboro Stadium.

Every World Cup needs the host nation to energise the population, and Russian Federation have ticked that box with this result. More than 40 soccer officials and businesses indicted, convicted or pleaded guilty.

"This shouldn't be a geopolitical discussion or decision", U.S. Soccer President Carlos Cordeiro said this week, according to the Los Angeles Times. "The merits of the bid, we feel we have a compelling proposal".

Boss Pep Guardiola has never lost to Emery in 10 meetings - including six victories - with Goater adding: "City will be looking to win that first game, which I think is really important". "Categorically, nobody", Cordeiro said. If you're in the United States, it's probably because soccer isn't very popular.

The World Cup is due to feature 48 teams and will take place across three countries for the first time.
