13 June 2018

Her trial date will be set Tuesday at the Loudoun County courthouse.

After the hearing, her attorney, Jose Baez, told TMZ, "Rose steadfastly maintains her innocence".

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority obtained the warrant in February past year after authorities allegedly found traces of narcotics in her personal belongings that were left behind on a United flight in January to Washington, D.C.

She pled not guilty to the charge, claiming that she had reported the lost wallet to the airline shortly after landing.

On Monday, the actress was indicted by a grand jury in the ongoing case, in which she's been hit with one felony count of cocaine possession.

Earlier this year, McGowan claimed that disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein could have been involved in planting the drugs because of the "underhanded targeting of Ms. McGowan by the fallen mogul", stemming from her decision to speak about about her allegations that she was raped by the mogul.

Through a spokesperson, Weinstein has consistently denied any allegations of "non-consensual sex".

After McGowan's tweets, Weinstein hired several private security agencies, one operated by veterans of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad, to block women from reporting that he allegedly sexually assaulted or harassed them, according to the New Yorker.
