How Prince Harry Helped Meghan Through Her First Ever Balcony Appearance

13 June 2018

As you may have seen over the weekend, Meghan Markle made her royal balcony debut during Saturday's Trooping the Colour ceremony.

According to royal expert and Majesty magazine managing editor Joe Little, there's an etiquette to these things. "There was no slight intended, but William being the older, more senior brother would go out [first] with his wife".

To be fair, Meghan didn't look unhappy about her balcony position. So for her first ever Buckingham Palace balcony appearance, the former TV actress couldn't be front and center like she was at her May 19 wedding.

It's been over three weeks since the Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding with Prince Harry, and although she seems to be handling everything like a pro in public, a source tells ET that she has been turning to members of the royal family and the staff to ensure she doesn't have a misstep. "And there were a lot of kids who everyone would want at the front".

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are continuing to prove why they're the No. 1 couple in our hearts (sorry not sorry, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson) with yet another caught-on-camera cute moment.

But her dress broke a Royal fashion rule.

Aquarius: the migrant ship at centre of ugly European row
Italy's new Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said "saving lives is a duty, turning Italy into a huge refugee camp is not". Italy refused because some politicians there don't want the country to take in as many migrants as it has in the past.

And interestingly enough, actress Parisa Fitz-Henley, who portrayed Markle in Lifetime's "Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance", is also on the Emmy consideration ballot, claimed ET.

Meghan opted for a light pink off-shoulder dress by Carolina Herrera.

In addition to the Queen, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte (Prince Louis stayed home during the festivities!).

And Meghan was all smiles as she took in the historic annual event. "I have a feeling she's going to push the limits a little too much?!"

While there's a deeper implication to the remark - which suggests that joining the royal family lacks "joy" - the internet is focused on having a field day with McCartney's reference to the duchess's "human" side.
