President Donald Trump has arrived in Singapore for talks with the North Korean leader, but he remains focused on the G-7 conference of allies he just left behind in Quebec and the question of free trade.
Peter Navarro tells "Fox News Sunday" that's what Trudeau did to Trump at the end of the Group of Seven nations meeting in Canada over the weekend. "There will be no world hegemony if we know how to organize ourselves".
Macron said it was possible to make progress on the trade issues that have split the US and its allies after meeting with Trump.
Trump and Putin have met at a formal bilateral meeting in Germany and on the sidelines of a leaders' summit in Vietnam.
"As far as I know, the president of the United States said the U.S.is considering the possibility of regulating the additional supply of automotive equipment in the US market", he said.

But he downplayed the tension, saying, "When it all straightens out, we'll all be in love again". The Russian head of state recently had meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, but the one he is really keen to have is with Trump. She said the two leaders exchanged pleasantries and briefly discussed trade.
"Please, we will be happy to see everyone in Moscow", Putin said.
Europe, Canada and Japan are largely united in opposition to Trump's protectionism while trying to find ways to bridge the divide and avoid rupturing the G7, which in its 42-year history has tended to seek consensus on economic and other issues.

At issue are USA tariffs against Canada and Trudeau's effort to retaliate against its neighbor - as well as Trudeau's comment to reporters that all seven leaders had come together to sign a joint declaration after the G-7 meeting.
"In the future we'll be talking about future trade relations, but of course the security relationship that underpins the UK's long-standing special relationship with the United States is of particular importance to us".
In April, the White House confirmed the two leaders spoke in a phone call about meeting at the White House "in the 'not-too-distant-future'". "Everyone agreed, including President Trump".
He pointed out that Trump himself "has many time said he believed such a meeting would be useful". Between that, the whole oligarchy thing and the invading other nations thing, the fact is that Russian Federation has no place in the G7 and absolutely no right to be there.
