Halo Infinite may be next-gen, and may be single-player only

Microsoft kicked off their annual E3 press conference with a bang by revealing a cinematic trailer for 343 Industries' Halo Infinite.

The Xbox event was packed with cinematic snippets or play of 52 games, including new instalments to blockbuster franchises such as "Fallout" and "Halo". Whether or not there's any substance to that rumour, Halo Infinite is clearly some time off and its form is still in flux.

Are you excited for Halo: Infinite?

Although none of the Japanese developed games appear to be Xbox exclusive - the developers, it seems, not yet quite that confident - it's a hugely promising sign that Microsoft has been able to win them back. Spencer said that the hardware team behind the Xbox One X is "deep into architecting the next Xbox consoles" and that they'll "set the benchmark for console gaming".

West Family Feud episode finally aired in the U.S. , and it's quite possibly the happiest we've ever seen Kanye West . Kanye commented, while Kim discussed the family's alleged routine of watching Family Feud "every night".

"Bungie will announce a new exclusive Xbox game today". No updated timing was provided at E3, but officials did confirm that the coming service will work across multiple platforms, not just Microsoft's, and not just with gaming consoles. Microsoft also is forming a new studio called The Initiative in Santa Monica, Calif., to be headed by industry veteran Darrell Gallagher.

The reveal trailer shown at E3 ran on the new Slipspace Engine, culminating as a tech demo for fans to see what is to come. The game will be playable for Xbox One and PC. However, the multiplayer part of the game will purportedly release in 2020, which is a year later. We are thrilled to welcome five new studios into the Microsoft family.

Studio acquisitions include the US-based Undead Labs (known for State of Decay), the UK-based Playground Games and Ninja Theory (known for the Forza Horizon series and Hellblade respectively), and the Canadian-based Compulsion Games.
