Shocking allegations about Wasim Akram, others in Reham Khan's new-book

08 June 2018

Even though the book has not been released - nor scheduled for one - leaked manuscripts seem to have found their way to PTI supporters, who verify extremely damaging content regarding the filers.

Reham Khan has undoubtedly made some bold accusations. She alleged that sexual favours were used to appoint people to powerful posts.

She also criticised Khan over the recent nominations of candidates for the caretaker chief minister for Pakistan's Punjab province, for which the party has come under fire after it withdrew the name of its proposed candidate Nasir Khosa.

PTI lawyer in his petition stated, Reham is working on the agenda of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and she is carrying out this conspiracy with the help of the former ambassador Hussain Haqqani.

Reham also said, on Indian TV, that getting "sexual favours" to give out political positions was quite the norm in Pakistani politics, especially PTI.

Similarly, certain quarters are accusing former ambassador to US, Husain Haqqani, of ghost writing the book after pictures of Haqqani and Reham Khan having lunch appeared on the internet.

Philippines' Duterte stirs controversy by kissing woman on lips
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte attends a South Korea-Philippines business forum hotel in Seoul on June 5, 2018. He has also publicly kissed women in the past, including at rallies during his campaign for the presidency.

Apart from Akram, Reham has received legal notices from her ex-husband Dr Ijaz Rehman, a British businessman, Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari, and Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) media coordinator Anila Khawaja for defaming them in her autobiography.

With merely two months to go for the general elections in Pakistan, cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's former wife Reham Khan has caused a political storm in the country with her allegations of sexual harassment against the former, who is a prime ministerial hopeful.

A PTI source confirmed that Reham's manuscript is not defamatory about Jemima Goldsmith and Reham was perhaps aware that Jemima Goldsmith could pose challenge to her through courts. This constituted a violation of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution, she was quoted as saying by the Pakistani media.

Reham told Geo News in an interview that her upcoming book mentions a BlackBerry phone, claiming that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is scared of it.

Reham revealed to the Sunday Times, also in 2015, that an adviser with Imran's PTI party said her new role as his wife would be to "cook chapatis and not to be seen ever again".

'As regards to my marriage, I thought we were having a flawless husband-and-wife relationship together.
