'This is not what she wants'

MEGHAN Markle's dad Thomas has reportedly done an about face and now wants to go to the United Kingdom to walk his daughter down the aisle when she marries Prince Harry on Saturday. The father of the bride said, "This is a historic moment".

Mr Markle, 73, was due to walk his daughter down the aisle at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, in front of 600 guests including all the senior British royals and a smattering of celebrities on Saturday.

Kensington Palace, the official residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, issued a statement late Monday following the allegations that Markle's father, who lives in Mexico, had pulled out of the wedding.

TMZ also said Markle would bow out of his wedding role.

Backtracking on his statements the day before, Thomas Markle told TMZ on Tuesday that he has chose to go to the wedding after speaking with his daughter.

Asked how he thinks the Queen will feel about the recent drama, Markle Sr joked she wasn't likely to be thinking about what he's doing.

Thomas tells TMZ, he will go into surgery at 7:30 AM Wednesday. Ms. Markle is estranged from her two half siblings, products of her father's first marriage; they are the ones now making the most mischief, egged on with promises of fame and with monetary compensation from the tabloids.

A bench comprising Justices J Chelameswar and Sanjay Kishan Kaul had reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments on 18 April. There is not a single evidence that suggests that the cause of death was a cardiac arrest and not brain haemorrhage.

Souvenirs related to the upcoming royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seen for sale in a shop in Windsor last week.

The royal cake will claim center stage at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding reception on Saturday. "He admits the pics look 'stupid and hammy.' He says he was just going along with the paparazzi agency, which he now deeply regrets". Kensington Palace told HuffPost on Tuesday that they still had no comment regarding the news or the change in plans.

Previous reports indicated that Thomas Markle wouldn't be at the wedding and that the former actress' mother, Doria Ragland, would walk her down the aisle. "And the idea of contemplating him not being there now is not something that she wants to have to do", a source told the Daily Mail.

Ms. Meghan's half-sister, Samantha, has since claimed she hopes their father will attend if he is well enough.

"I spoke to him early in the morning yesterday and he was quite depressed over an unbelievable series of events involving the media", she said.

Samantha Markle, whose legal name is Samantha Grant, said she was on to defend her father against "media vultures" after she set up the faux photo opportunity for him before the royal wedding for pay, says Page Six. He reportedly scored a $750,000 lottery win when Meghan was nine, which helped jumpstart her career.

"It's safe to say I have always been a daddy's girl - he taught me how to fish, to appreciate Busby Berkeley films, write thank-you notes, and spend my weekends in Little Tokyo eating chicken teriyaki with vegetable tempura".
