"In 2016 expenses were incurred by one of Donald J. Trump's attorneys, Michael Cohen", Trump reported in a footnote to his official Personal Financial Disclosure report, required of top federal officials.

But Trump's lawyers have said that the Trump reimbursed Cohen for a $130,000 hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence over her alleged affair with Trump.

"Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly", Cohen said, using Daniels' real name, Stephanie Clifford.

Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen, declared earlier this year that it was he and he alone who had arranged the payment for Daniels, and this admission caused Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, to pounce.

The disclosure did not specify what the reimbursement was for, and gave just a range: $101,000-$250,000.

A law enforcement source said in a new report Wednesday that he leaked financial records about President Trump's longtime attorney Michael Cohen because two key goverment reports on Cohen's financial activity were missing.

Trump's legal team said that Trump previously did not disclose the Cohen payment because they did not consider it a liability.

The Trump Organisation referred questions about the disclosure report to the president's lawyer Sheri Dillon of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

The request to Qatar would be the latest such exchange offered by Cohen to be made public following acknowledgements by US and European companies last week that they paid Cohen, who was Trump's lawyer for about a decade and self-described "fixer" for Trump.

"Cohen sought reimbursement of those expenses and Trump fully reimbursed Cohen in 2017", according to the document. Dillon didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

In his financial discloser form, Trump has listed assets of at least Dollars 1.4 billion and income of more than USD 452 million. The report estimated the holdings are worth at least $1.4 billion (€1.84 bn).

His Washington, D.C., hotel near the Oval Office, a magnet for diplomats and lobbyists, took in $40 million. The report shows he took in $75 million from his Miami golf course and resort past year, $25 million at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida and $15 million from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. That previous filing, Trump's first as president, covered a 16-month period, making the two numbers roughly comparable. "He hasn't made a single allegation against the president". "He had donated something close to $100 million, what's another $100,000?"

Frank alleges Avenatti pulled a Trump in 2016 by refusing to hand over his firm's tax returns.

When Trump took office, he refused to fully divest from his global business, another break with presidential tradition. The document revealed that Cohen was paid by the pharmaceutical company Novartis, the telecommunications giant A.T. & T., and an investment firm with ties to the Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg.

The owners of struggling hotels in Toronto and NY have paid the Trumps millions of dollars to remove their name from the properties after the election.
