Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Grant has been hospitalized with a possible broken ankle.
Samantha Markle, 53, was driving with her partner Mark near their Florida home when they crashed into a concrete barrier, celebrity news site TMZ reports.
Samantha Grant, who shares a father with Meghan, is said to have been injured when a auto she was travelling in swerved to avoid an alleged paparazzi photographer and hit a concrete barrier.
Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha Markle made a video in which she said Meghan can't make her stop talking to the press because she's American and has the right to free speech.
The news comes after reports that Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, 73, will not be attending her and Prince Harry's wedding on Saturday in the United Kingdom due to health issues.
The alleged incident came after Samantha gave interviews on United Kingdom television about her half-sister's upcoming wedding to Prince Harry.
Ms. Grant, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, hit the windshield and fell to the floor, Mark said.

In addition, she admits that the princess-to-be doesn't even have a relationship with anyone else in the family, at least to her knowledge.
Just before she ended up in hospital, Samantha gave a scathing interview, where she spoke from her vehicle, slamming Meghan for asking her family not to speak out about her life. 'Meghan's way out of her league to tell me I can't speak'.
Samantha didn't receive an invite to Prince Harry and Markle's royal wedding.
She added that she would like to give the present to Markle personally.
The Royal Wedding has taken another huge dramatic turn on the same day Meghan's dad was taken into surgery for a major heart operation.
In just two days time Meghan Markle will walk down the aisle at Windsor Castle.
Reports suggest the procedure has been completed and Thomas is alert and coherent, telling TMZ he believed doctors had implanted three stents in his blood vessels.
