He told police that his wife berates him "every time he plays poorly in a tournament", calling him a "loser" and a "p***y", according to a police report.

According to the report, Lucas' mother had cuts on her arms and blood on her chest when cops arrived ... and said Krista had attacked both her and Lucas. She verbally abused Glover and peppered him with profane insults in front of their young children after his round on Saturday, the report says.

Hershey Glover, the golfer's mother, allegedly attempted to intervene on her son's behalf.

Lucas Glover asked fans to respect his family's privacy "as we work through this situation". That would explain the notes in the police report that she refused to get into the patrol auto, tried to wrap her legs around the doorway to keep from getting in, and also reportedly said that "this is why cops get shot in the face". The report noted, however, she had no visible injuries.

He allegedly told officers that Conley Glover had been "drinking throughout the day", and that whenever he plays poorly, she calls him a "p-y" and a "loser".

Krista Glover has been charged with the assault of her husband, PGA Tour golfer Lucas Glover.

She allegedly tried to wrap her legs and feet around the frame of the open auto door, but several deputies pulled and pushed until she got in. Two lawmen were able to re-handcuff her.

"Wait till the tour (PGA) hears about this", she yelled at the deputies, according to the report. 'You will lose your job. Wait till I talk with the judge, you will be f***ng fired over this'.

When they left the house, deputies handed Lucas a pamphlet about the dangers of domestic violence and another spelling out victims' rights.

Krista Glover was arrested Saturday night at a rental house and taken to St. Johns County Jail before being released on $2,500 bond Sunday.

A Greenville, S.C., native, Glover played golf at Clemson from 1998-2001, being named an All-American in 2000 before turning professional. Since then, he has made $20.1 million in prize money.
