Foster had worked out at the facility - as players are allowed to do without obligation or direction from coaches - following his February 11 arrest at a Los Gatos home.
Per the release, the alleged victim flagged down a stranger's vehicle following an altercation with Foster in which he physically threw her out of their home, pulled her hair and punched her in the head eight to 10 times.
Foster was a first-round draft pick last April out of Alabama, and although injuries hindered the start of his rookie season, he did win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month in December and finished as the team's second-leading tackler.
The report states that Foster will not participate in the 49ers' offseason program as the legal system takes its course. He is scheduled to meet with the team this week, a sitdown that could determine his future with the franchise.
The decision does not affect felony charges of domestic violence, forcefully attempting to dissuade a witness, and possession of an assault weapon - the latter in connection with a Sig Sauer 516 short-barreled rifle authorities seized from his home.

The 49ers open their offseason program on Monday at the club's training facility in Santa Clara. "Our office handles between four and five thousand domestic violence cases each year". She was bruised and sustained a ruptured ear drum, according to the DA's office. A blanket statement from the team described Thursday's charges as "disturbing" and that Foster "is aware that his place in our organization is under great scrutiny". "But we're going to remain supportive and try to help our players every way that we can", Saban said. The voluntary workouts are focused on strength and conditioning for the first two weeks followed by three weeks of on-field work and individual drill instruction and capped off with 10 organized team activities.
After Foster was charged last week, the Niners issued a statement saying they meant to follow the matter and noted that Foster "is aware that his place in our organization is under great scrutiny and will depend on what is learned through the legal process".
Foster was arraigned on Thursday and was issued a no-contact order by Santa Clara Superior Court Judge Nona Klippen for the girlfriend.
The NFL has said it is monitoring the Foster case but has made no announcement of any penalties or suspensions for the second-year player.
