Sony India today introduced its new headphone series and Extra Bass wireless speaker line-up for 2018. In the top range, the WF-SP700N costs Rs 12,990, the WI-SP600N will set you back by Rs 9,990 and the WI-SP500 costs Rs 4,990.
Coming to the new range of headphones, Sony has launched the WF-SP700N which it claims to be the world's first device to combine a splash-proof design and digital noise cancellation which can be turned on by using the Ambient Sound mode on the device. The user can just turn on the Ambient Sound mode to stay aware of the surrounding sounds.

Sony has also introduced three new wireless speakers - SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31, and SRS-XB21 - which are IP687 certified that makes them waterproof and dustproof. They have a battery life of 3 hours and also come with an open charging case which extends the battery backup up to 9 hours. It can be easily connected to your smartphone via NFC. These headphones are sports headphones and WI-SP600N features same digital noise cancelling and splash-proof rating of the WF-SP700N and has a battery rated for approximately six hours. Sony India has made the WI-SP600N and WI-SP500 available in India starting April 16 for a price of Rs 4,990 and Rs 9,990 respectively. WI-C300, WH-CH400 and WH-CH500 One common feature among these three audio products is that they are compatible with Google assistant on a press of a button.
The WF-SP700N, WI-SP600N, WI-SP500, WI-C300, WH-CH400, WH-CH500, SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31 and SRS-XB21 will be available across all Sony Center and major electronic stores in India. These new wireless speakers are all about portability and durability along with Sony's trademark Extra Bass sound system. These wireless speakers can be paired with up to 100 speakers over Bluetooth for creating a wireless party chain. The new headphone range is priced at Rs 2,990 onwards while the speaker range starts at Rs 7,990 onwards. On the WI-SP500 the battery life of up to eight hours. Weighing 15 gram, this in-ear headphone has been priced at Rs 2,990 and offers 8 hours of battery backup. While the WI-C300 are in-ear wireless headphones, the WH-CH400 and WH-CH500 are over-the-ear headphones. Both are said to deliver 20-hours of playback time and will be available in Black and Blue colour options. The speakers are enabled with "Party Booster" feature which enhances the beats and gives the party an extra boost, claims the company. The SRS-XB41 and SRS- XB31 offer up to 24-hour battery life while the SRS-XB21 has a 12-hour battery life with lighting off.
