Seven minutes after the call was made the radio call went out to the police and two officers were assigned to investigate the call.

In May 2017, Smith wrote a post "venting" about how working overtime makes her and her co-workers "hate our job".

"During the second call, the caller gave specific, detailed information regarding the make, model, and color of the vehicle", Isaac said. "That's all. Nothing will change", she wrote.

Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac speaks to reporters about the death of Kyle Plush Thursday, April 12, 2018, during a news conference at the Criminal Investigation Section conference room, in Cincinnati. "I need help, I'm gonna die here".

"It was really hard to hear", the operator told the deputy.

Just before 9 p.m., a passerby also called authorities from the school, saying that a man was running around the parking lot, screaming, "Call 911". The search lasted for 11 minutes until they closed the incident.

He told the operator Plush was "turned over in the seat and stuck there".

Plush was found shortly after 8 p.m.by his father - about five hours after he first called 911.

A family member reported him missing to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, Chief Isaac said. The county coroner ruled his death accidental, from asphyxia due to chest compression and said there was no indication of foul play or drug overdose. According to WCPO, the deputy questioned whether it was a prank.

He noted it could have been equipment issues or human error.

"We share in the heartbreak around this", he added.

Thus, Honda said, "it's premature to speculate on any potential actions". He said only that he was trapped in his minivan and could not hear them - no doubt hoping they could still hear his cries for help.

"This was a horrific tragedy", Isaac said.

Mercy Montessori, where Kyle went for early education, released a statement saying, "Our Mercy hearts are heavy". "We lovingly remember Kyle as creative, vibrant, and kind".

"Kyle's gentle spirit made it a joy for others to be around him", principal Patty Normille said to WCPO in a statement.
