Like Zaman, Imam, Salahuddin and Ashraf have all played limited overs cricket, but Saad has yet to make his global debut.

Wahab Riaz is unsurprisingly omitted; the left-arm paceman was criticised by coach Mickey Arthur for his work ethic and had already fallen out of favour in white-ball cricket. The announcement for the Pakistani national team squad was done after a series of training camps.

Batsman Shan Masood was also overlooked as he is now recovering from a knee injury.

Pakistan have named four uncapped players, including the 22-year-old nephew of former captain and current chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq, in their Test squad for the team's upcoming tour of Ireland and England on Sunday.

R. Lee Ermey has passed away at age 74 due to pneumonia
The judge gave Ermey a simple choice between jail or the military. "Lee came up with, I don't know, 150 pages of insults". Ermey's first acting role was as a helicopter pilot in Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 Vietnam War epic Apocalypse Now .

Shah, 31, who has 34 wickets only six Tests against England, including two five-wicket hauls, was ruled out for the tour because of a hip injury. The absence of Yasir Shah meant Pakistan brought in Shadab Khan, who, within a year, has become the leading spinner of the side's limited-overs attack, but has played a solitary Test so far. "He played a big part in all the games we won".

"We've kept two things in focus when deciding on the final touring squad for England".

Fawad Alam, son of Pakistan's famous first-class cricketer Tariq Alam, made an early start to his first-class career at the young age of 17, he also played in the under 19 world cup for Pakistan. So we've chose to call up several young players to give them exposure to those conditions.

Pakistan will a Test against Ireland, which will the European side's first ever game in the longest format, in Malahide from 11-15 May. The second Test will be held at Headingley in Leeds on June 1.
