Delhi Daredevils beat Mumbai Indians

16 April 2018

After Yadav (53 off 32 balls) and Lewis (48 off 28 balls) posted the century stand, their good work was continued by Ishan Kishan (44 off 23 balls).

No matter whom they play against, where they play, what combinations they try, Mumbai Indians manage to get the same result - a defeat after an exciting contest that drags the match up to the last over.

Meanwhile, in the first match of the day, Delhi registered their first win in three matches as they beat Mumbai by seven wickets off the last ball of the match. The right-hander smashed an unbeaten 91 off 53 balls, a knock that included six fours and as many sixes, to help Delhi pull off a tricky chase.

After being put in to bat, Mumbai got off to a dream start with each of their top 3 batsman scoring big and scoring quickly.

"They really bowled some good slower ones". Roy responded to the challenge of 11 needed off six balls by hitting Mustafizur for a four and a six, but swung and missed at the next three balls.

Wriddhiman Saha departed after a 24-run cameo at the top, Shikhar Dhawan perished to Sunil Narine's first ball, while Pandey was trapped in front by Kuldeep Yadav before Williamson and Shakib added 59 runs for the fourth wicket. Mumbai Indians had lost the initiative - wickets fell and the run rate dropped. A team that is three-time champion of the tournament and is now the defending champion, is not supposed to play like Mumbai has been doing so far this season.

Kim Kardashian Goes All-Out for 20-Year High School Reunion
Glad Kim K had a good time looking back, though! Dream is Kim's brother Rob Kardashian's daughter, whom he shares with Blac Chyna. The pictures, which were posted before Khloe's crisis became public, however, continue to feature on Kim's social-media page.

"It's nice to get out there and take a few wickets". But soon after that, Rahul Tewatia applied the brakes and send Lewis back, who was caught by Jason Roy at mid-off. How often do we see a opening batsman play till the last ball to finish a game?

Eventually, after some anxious moments, Roy gathered his wits to hit the winning shot and avoided the match going to the Super Over. Roy was efficient in using his feet to meet the pitch of the ball, as well as using the depth of the crease while shifting back.

"We were waiting for this win especially against Mumbai Indians".

Rishabh Pant made a 25-ball 47 and his second-wicket 69-run partnership went a long way towards taking Gautam Gambhir's men over the line.

Gambhir, who was associated with KKR since 2011, has better knowledge of the conditions and he will be keen to make a point against his former franchise, who did not retain him this year. Incidentally, they have won four of their last five matches against Delhi with the 146-run victory a year ago being the highest in IPL.
