Ninja Breaks Twitch Record Playing Fortnite with Drake, Travis Scott, and Others

The Canadian rapper's involvement with Ninja has been rumoured over the past week, with the streamer previously teasing the team-up by playing a bunch of Drake's songs on the platform.

The latest example? Hugely popular singer Drake is playing the game right now with popular streamer Ninja.

To put that in perspective, the previous record for concurrent viewers on any Twitch stream was under 400,000, and as I'm typing this there are more than 600,000 people watching.

After following Ninja on Instagram, it was confirmed the pair would be looking to play duos at some point, however, when it finally happened, it went to a whole new level. But he didn't do it in any normal fashion, instead bringing tons of viewers to Twitch by way of popular recording artists and athletes.

Ninja typically brings in around 60,000 to 90,000 viewers per stream, which is more than what other big names like Dr. DisRespect, and Shroud pull in regularly.

The woman, her husband and their baby have not been named and there is no report on the baby's gender or latest condition. She does not look as if she just went through labour and looks more like she had just gone for a swim.

This however came to fruition on March 15, with Drake (playing on PS4) jumping on board Ninja's stream (played on PC) and chatting via Discord.

Over the last several months, the video game Fortnite has become one of the hottest crazes in the industry that has reached the sports world with many professional athletes partaking in the action.

Tyler "Ninja" Blevin is a former professional Halo player who chose to turn his attention to streaming battle royale games in 2017.

Ninja's stream is still incredibly wholesome, so be sure to tune in for a good start to your morning.
