Manchester United's Paul Pogba trains 'a little bit' ahead of Sevilla

Most clubs would be delighted to be sitting second in the Premier League, into the FA Cup quarter-finals and on the verge of a return to the last eight of the Champions League.

Man United held an open training session on Monday morning before Jose Mourinho spoke to the press.

Pogba has returned to training after missing Saturday's 2-1 Premier League victory over Liverpool.

Anthony Martial and Zlatan Ibrahimovic did take part. Days after the home leg, they were trounced 5-2 by second-placed Atletico Madrid, and come into tonight's fixture off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Valencia, meaning the gap to them in fourth has widened. They register one win on the road, but it was against a lowly Malaga side that can't get a win to save their lives at the moment.

"But fantastic performance and the spirit when other players probably could do it the easiest way and say: 'we are winning 2-0, I've done my job, goodbye'".

"In modern football you have to live day-by-day, week-by week and match-by-match and I can imagine that if we lose against Sevilla on Tuesday everyone will have forgotten what we did in the last couple of weeks".

The junior nationalist coalition party SNS said on Monday that it could accept either early elections or a cabinet reshuffle. The Most-Hid pressure came despite the resignation earlier on Monday by interior minister Robert Kalinak.

Manchester United go into Tuesday's game as favourites to qualify after their goal-less draw in the first leg, and they have their goalkeeper to thank for holding that advantage.

Carrick has hardly played this season with the 26-year-old former Tottenham player having a heart related scare during an EFL tie against Burton in September.

"I don't think we're candidates to win the competition".

Chris Smalling grabbed one back before a composed Romelu Lukaku finish drew United level. Keep your best stuff for the @FIFAWorldCup this time. The Portuguese had stated then that it is high time that Old Trafford experienced a big Champions League night.

Mourinho admitted after Saturday's win he is still in the dark about his £89million man's availability for the Seville crunch game. That means United must win. But when you draw away, even though it's a 0-0, we get to decide the tie at home.

"But really when it comes to the game, I think United should have enough to cope with Sevilla anyway". It's something you've got to accept so that's where I am at.
