Patriots' Tom Brady takes issue with the ESPN report

Kraft told Sports Illustrated that Belichick "absolutely" will be coaching the Patriots in the 2018 season, dismissing any notion of parting ways with the veteran coach.

The report also claimed there was turmoil within the Patriots franchise, leading to rumours linking head coach Bill Belichick with a move to the New York Giants, but the 65-year-old says he will be in charge next season.

The ESPN The Magazine story said "some players and staffers noticed that Brady seemed especially excited, hollering and cajoling". He was specifically upset by the notion that he took relief from the departure of backup quarterbacks passed, too.
