Ghalib Afzal greeted on success in 12th class exams

India's infamous parliament attack convict Afzal Guru's son Galib Guru has passed higher secondary school examination conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) with a distinction.

Galib scored 441 out of 500 cent in the examination.

Afzal Guru's son, Galib Afzal Guru has achieved distinction in the 12th board examination.

Galib aspires to become a doctor and to fulfill his father's unrealised dream of becoming a medical professional. He was executed in 2013 for his role in the Parliament attack.

On January 9, 17-year-old Insha Mushtaq had qualified Class 10 examinations, despite being completely blinded by pellet injuries in July 2016. Around 55,163 students in Kashmir appeared in the Class XII exams and 33,893 cleared the test.
