Michael Essien fears Eden Hazard will join Real Madrid

08 December 2017

Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has admitted that he fears Eden Hazard could leave the Blues for Real Madrid.

The 35-year-old midfielder who made 256 appearances for the Blues winning two Premier League titles, one Champions League trophy and three FA Cups has said that even interest from Real Madrid is enough to unsettle a player. Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has been on another level this season - the Ballon D'Or can not be too far away.

"He could go to Real Madrid to win the Balon d'Or easier", Essien told He's very quick, very good on the ball.

"I am always very fine at this club". It's going to be hard to move him.

According to the Mirror, the player had rejected the latest £300k-a-week deal put on the table by Chelsea, knowing that Spanish super club Real Madrid are interested in acquiring his services. He is proving it week-in, week out.

Kate Middleton steps out wearing handsome Diana hand-me-down
Recently, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was spotted at the Queen's winter party wearing the Cambridge Lover's Knot tiara. When Middleton wore the stunning headpiece in 2015, it was the first time it had been worn since Diana's passing in 1997.

The Frenchman wants to add more goals to his team with Alvaro Morata departing in the last transfer window, while Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to have scored five or more times this season. "When you have Hazard, he can always do something". Thus while they spent a comparatively short amount of time together, the Ghana worldwide did get to know Hazard and the way he played football. He has that magic touch.

"I don't think that Eden is at the peak of his career yet".

"If you ask me about these two players, I will be very happy when they can have this deal but this is the responsibility of the club to try to do this".

"I think this is a great chance where every great player has to show his ability".
