Although not yet officially announced by WWE, it appears as if Rousey will be making her way to the squared circle in the near future.
Now people close to Rousey have told USA Today and MMA Junkie that she is "finalizing details of her move to WWE".
Rousey appeared at WrestleMania 31 and was spotted in the crowd during WWE's Mae Young Classic tournament. The value of WWE rights isn't generally about one performer, and there are questions about how Rousey will be received by a wrestling audience, but she certainly would seem to have at least the potential of bringing in some new fans.
"I've been out there probably saying if she wants the opportunity I'm happy to give it to her. I wouldn't want it to happen", White said. I care about her.
Rousey's ties to the WWE are numerous and speculation has been mounting that her apparently imminent jump to the 'E will lead to a marquee matchup at the upcoming WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next April. She has got money ... and all that stuff.
Whether that actually happens remains to be seen, but Rousey is legitimately a huge name who can attract a wide audience in WWE regardless of what she does.

It bounced up and around and eventually went out the back of the end zone for a Seahawks touchback. "Fumbled, it happens. It's tough to do that on the road", Wentz said . "We didn't get all the necessary looks and they hustled to the line".
"She is looking for the opportunity so it seems like the ideal matchup". The defeat was her second straight, following a stunning knockout loss courtesy of Holly Holm's left foot in November 2015.
Looking back she may reflect that those extra-curricular activities caught up with her, but so too did the rest of the women's field. Now, it's quite possible that didn't directly factor in Rousey much, as this was about lower-tier broadcast fights rather than the better PPV fights she would have likely been in, but there was still maybe the idea of her showing up on some broadcast properties from time to time.
"Ronda changed the game for all of us", recently deposed women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk said. No one truly knew what she was feeling in the build-up to Nunes, or since, as she blanked the kind of media commitments that are demanded of all other fighters.
When Rousey came into the UFC she was a trailblazer.
Which means she leaves just as she arrived - uniquely.
