Overwatch Winter Wonderland event is back with an exciting game mode

"I was absolutely blown away when I saw the work that they had done and we really hope that you enjoy that". There will be plenty of new skins too, and Kaplan specifically hints at skins for Hanzo, Junkrat, and Roadhog. Today, Blizzard announced that the Overwatch Winter Wonderland seasonal event would be making a return on December 12, likely lasting until January 2, as each event is usually three weeks long. So this is something you can do for now to mix up your Overwatch action - and then you can start counting down the days until the next Winter Wonderland event.

While Winter Wonderland is a revival of last year's event, Blizzard is bringing some major new additions.

Sheeran tops Spotify's most-streamed list
The streaming service reported that " Shape of You " has been streamed 1.4 billion times, making it the most-streamed track ever. Rihanna finished as the top-streamed female artist, followed by Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Sia.

Maps will get seasonal decorations. However, the Black Forest map will also be decked up for the holiday season as well. Kaplan described this as "one of the most gorgeous jobs [Blizzard's] environmental artists have ever done". Mei's Yeti Hunt pits a team of five Mei players against one Winston player in what sounds a lot like the basic concept of Evolve.

Blizzard will also introduce another new Mei-centric Brawl, which Kaplan compared to a boss fight. A limited-time mode, Mei's Snowball Offensive, will also return and now be playable on both Ecopoint: Antarctica and this winterized version of Black Forest. Once Winston has enough meat, his Primal Rage ultimate will activate, sending him into a monstrous fury. When the Yeti is defeated, the group of Meis wins, whereas if a certain number of Meis die, the Winston player wins. Kaplan added that many of Overwatch's seasonal brawls are simply created to be fun, lighthearted and refreshing Arcade exercises that are available for a limited time. It's a race to see if the team of Meis wins, or the powerful Winston can smash them all.
