Amazon's Alexa exists the home and enters the workforce

Bungie has introduced a lot of new content for "Destiny 2", and the studio is not yet done in providing a cool gaming experience for the players.

Amazon aims to mirror the success of its Alexa voice assistant and Echo smart speakers in the business community with Alexa for Business, announced at its annual re:Invent conference in Las Vegas.

Destiny 2 players will have the option of downloading an Alexa skill called "Destiny 2 Ghost" which allows your Alexa device to take control of your in-game Ghost granting it access to changing gear presets, checking if friends are online and answering curiosities by just simply asking "Alexa, ask Ghost what I should do next".

Alexa will now respond to a variety of tasks with the prefix "Alexa, ask Ghost..."

Amazon wants Alexa to be everything for you: a personal assistant, a maid, a news anchor, and now a game show host. Alexa can also tell Ghost to equip the characters while travelling in orbit or in a social space.

Federal lawmakers also plan to approve of a recommendation to Russian regional legislatures to introduce similar measures. That means RT's reporters will not be able to have as much access to Congress as other foreign media.

There's also a limited-edition bit of actual kit in the form of a Destiny 2 Ghost speaker that is wi-fi enabled and will hook up with your Alexa setup. Businesses are also provided with a management console that enables them to add users, assign skills and so on across the network of Alexa-enabled devices from a single point.

"The Ghost serves as your guide and companion in Destiny 2 the game, and now players will be able to bring that experience into the real world with them through Alexa", said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision. The Limited-Edition Destiny 2 Ghost will be available on December 19, 2017. "The lines between in-game and out-of-game have been blurred in an incredible new way." .

Alexa for Business is the latest extension of Amazon's popular product, which is now powering Echo speakers, cameras, thermostats and other smart products that have been typically used within the home.

Many commentators expect Alexa to make quite an impact in Australia, following a large number of third-party devices which have already pledged to offer Alexa support.
