Greg Berlanti's coming of age comedy-drama Love, Simon gets a trailer

30 November 2017

Anyone who's familiar with Berlanti's pioneering work on Dawson's Creek - he wrote primetime television's first gay kiss - knows that he's the flawless director for this project.

The first trailer for next March's gay teen dramedy Love, Simon has been released and proves that coming out can still be a terrifying ordeal. Although Love, Simon doesn't look like it shies away from the weight of coming out of the closet, it also doesn't look like the story is drenched in tragedy or that Simon will be "punished" for being gay. Greg Berlanti directed the film, and the screenplay is by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

Love, Simon hits theatres March 16th 2018.

Everyone deserves a great love story.

Final Fantasy XV: Character Swapping, Episode Ardyn Coming
This was their approach for much-awaited titles like "Kingdom Hearts 3" and " Final Fantasy 15 " as well. Gladio, Prompto, and Ignis will play as they do in their DLC episodes.

Greg Berlanti recently teased that the film will have some powerful scenes, with the two romantic leads being guys - something that is rarely seen in a mainstream Hollywood romcom. Based on the popular young adult novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, the upcoming romantic comedy tells a comfortably familiar John Hughes-esque story of a high school student trying to balance friends, family and more, only with a new twist-he's gay.

"There's this one section of the film where Simon imagines this one boy and imagines them kissing underneath the mistletoe at Christmas".

For Keiynan Lonsdale in particular - who told his fans that he is attracted to boy girls and guys back in May - this project holds a special place in his heart.

More specifically, the Love, Simon, trailer ignited a bout of enthusiastic gratitude on Twitter, wherein social media users from all corners of the world wide web shared their excitement and adoration via a series of part-emphatic, part-flustered Tweets.
