"No single-player is coming to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds", according to Brendan Greene

Despite the game's creator, Brendan Greene, having previously stated that he'd have liked to explore a single-player campaign, it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Speaking at a panel in the GameSpot Theatre, Greene stated that he did actually give PUBG's first island, Erangel, backstory as a reference point for the artists that helped bring it to life.

"I think the island we have could be a great location for an interesting story, but unfortunately we just don't have the time or the resources for this at the moment!".

LLC Purchases 18900 Shares of Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC)
Currently, 716 million total shares are owned by the public and among those 705.84 million shares have been available to trade. IBM Retirement Fund purchased a new position in Marathon Oil Corporation in the 2nd quarter valued at approximately $149,000.

"I would love to add a single player campaign to the game", Greene told fans when discussing potential features he'd like to see make it into the game. "And even co-op single-player campaign".

Satya also revealed that PUBG Corp, the developer behind popular game Player Unknown's Battlegrounds is now using Microsoft Azure to maintain the game. The Xbox One exclusive Titanfall used Azure to host backend servers, and PUBG will do the same, while dramatically reducing the bandwidth load from game developer Bluehole who's now managing servers for millions of PC players everyday. We have no time'. While we continue to innovate across console, PC and Xbox Live services, we see substantial additional opportunities across eSports and streaming. Additionally, PUBG also became the most played game on Steam, when it hit a peak concurrent player count of over two million by the end of the year.

There's gonna have to be some serious testing done to make sure Xbox One players can fight fairly against PC keyboard and mouse users. Personally, I'd be more keen for an offline practice mode against AI.
