World football governing body chief Gianni Infantino today described the FIFA U-17 World Cup as a resounding success but refrained from giving any commitment on the countrys bid to host the U-20 World Cup in 2019.Infantino, who addressed the media after the FIFA Council Meeting here, declared a football continent and said that FIFA will continue to work with India to continue the momentum generated by the successful hosting of the FIFA World Cup.
The Club World Cup, played annually in December, features the winners of the six continental confederations' cup winners, along with one team from the host country.
"This year, there have been two World Cups in Asia - South Korea [U-20] and India [U-17]".
Now in the final stage of the world Cup has qualified the following teams: Russia, Brazil, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Belgium, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Germany, England, Spain, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Poland, Egypt, Iceland, Serbia, Portugal, France, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, Panama.
The Fan-ID plays an important role in the provision of security during the major football tournaments in Russian Federation as they are granting admittance to the stadiums and also serve as visas for foreign visitors to enter the country.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino has promised in the past to take action. Now the FIFA administration Will analyse this and present it (a report) to the FIFA Council early next year (for a decision), he said. Maybe have just one U-19 or U-18 for men's rather than U-20 and U-17.
JC Penney suffers worst drop in decades on loss forecast
Penney jcp has continued despite an economic environment that should be lifting the struggling department store's business more. The stock is now moving above its 20-Day Simple Moving Average of 2.19% with a 50-Day Simple Moving Average of -3.35 percent.
"In order to attend matches of the 2018 World Cup, spectators will have to file requests for a new Fan-ID", the ministry's press service said in its statement.
"We are also looking at co-hosting, so that smaller associations are able to host part of the events".
"After 2019, we might change the format of all the competitions and there can be many opportunities for many countries - big countries and smaller ones to organise the World Cup".
When asked what his thoughts were on the performance of the hosts in their maiden appearance in any World Cup, the Swiss said that there was still a gulf between India and the top sides but said that the gap was shortening. At a previous meeting in the Bahraini capital Manama in May 2017, he said: "We will take responsibility and we will take a decision on this matter".
Of course, we need to cherish the build-up generated by the success of this U-17 World Cup. I commend the work done by the AIFF. It's about leaving a legacy and putting the football culture in the heads of all the Indians.
