Google is now making video calling easier and faster on Android smartphones

The tech giant wants to make video calling an integrated part of a users' phone.

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL default launcher which comes with bottom search bar is now available to Download. This will be achieved by placing direct links within your Phone, Contact, and Messages apps.

As Android Police reported recently, a preview of Google's Phone app v13, which is now out, brought the new Duo video call integration to the three communications app.

"If you and the person you're video calling are on a carrier that supports ViLTE video calling, your video calls will be routed through the carrier's ViLTE service".

More Android devices will be added pretty soon as Google said it's still working with carrier and device partners to expand the experience. It provides you with general information about your battery and how you are using it.

That being said, with cheap data rates, people are making the most out of video calling services today.
