Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Reveals New Z Moves For Necrozma

12 October 2017

Hopefully, that wouldn't happen - the competitive Pokémon scene has, for the most part, maintained a remarkable amount of variety and balance over the years - but for those already thinking about new strategies in Ultra Sun and Moon, it's a fascinating possiblity. Necrozma can absorb the Legendary Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunala, giving its Attack or Special Attack stats a massive boost.

The new trailer for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon focuses on the two new forms of Necrozma and its powerful new Z-moves.

This form of Necrozma manifests when the Pokemon takes control of both the body and mind of the Legendary Pokemon Solgaleo (Sun), absorbing the light energy that pours out of it.

To start, both Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma have a new move called Photo Geyser, and each get their own Z-Move to go with it that is also usable as Solgaleo and Lunala.

Target Expands Google Express Offer Nationwide to Counter Amazon
Nearly two out of three USA internet users shopped on Amazon in the second quarter, according to Wells Fargo analysts. Be on the lookout for additional features that bring together the best of Google and Target in the coming year.

A Necrozma that knows Sunsteel Strike or Moongeist Beam and is holding the corresponding Z-Crystal will also be able to unleash Searing Sunraze Smash or Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom.

The video also explained new Rotom Dex features. The abilities will be unlocked via a "Roto Loto" feature that gives out the abilities at random. Points or prize money that players will receive for a set period of time, while others might make it easier to catch Pokémon or have other effects. Using a slot machine style, players can earn new items to use like Roto Encounter which helps players find higher level wild Pokemon more often or Roto Hatch which hatches eggs at a faster rate.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide on November 17th.

Then there's the Rotom Dex, which takes a more active role in our adventure than before by speaking to the player more frequently, though rather unfortunately in the same doofy, cheesy tones as before and not in the snarky manner of Dexter, the original Pokedex. Both titles will require approximately 3.6GB of space.
