White House to glow pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is worldwide breast cancer awareness month, and once again, Tips & Toes has partnered with Pink Caravan to help raise awareness and funds.

The pink color is meant to remind and encourage everyone to "take steps in detecting breast cancer early and to express solidarity with those who have been affected by the disease".

As the fourth woman in her family to be diagnosed with breast cancer, Sara thinks it's better to be safe than sorry.
