Teenager charged over London Underground attack

The Metropolitan Police have charged an 18-year-old man with attempted murder in connection with the Parsons Green attack. Hassan faces the charge of attempting to murder passengers on the tube train.

Westminster Magistrates' Court granted police permission to continue questioning two of the remaining men, both arrested in Wales, until Tuesday.

Ahmed Hassan is accused of carrying out the attack at Parsons Green station in London on Friday which injured 30 people.

Hassan, who reportedly came to the United Kingdom as an Iraqi refugee, was arrested Saturday in the city of Dover as he tried to flee the country.
