Tom Brady's Formula For Peak Performance

17 September 2017

NEW England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says he doesn't worry about concussions and considers them part of playing in the National Football League, in a television interview to be broadcast in the United States this weekend.

The Saints would've liked this matchup a lot more if they could've found a way to acquire Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler this offseason.

New Orleans knew the budding star's game well, but the Saints wanted to get to know the person behind the famous Super Bowl interception.

Hunt is a different style of running back from the guys in the Saints' top trio of runners - Mark Ingram, Adrian Peterson and rookie Alvin Kamara.

This will be New England's first trip to New Orleans since 2009 when the Saints cruised past the Patriots 38-17. "I mean, I'm not oblivious to 'em".

Oklahoma State's Rudolph shows National Football League form in rout of Pitt
Mason Rudolph threw five touchdown passes, all in the first half , and No. 9 Oklahoma State drilled Pittsburgh 59-21 on Saturday. After just a few minutes, it became apparent that Pitt was no match for Oklahoma State's ridiculous offense.

Tom Brady's stats weren't too shabby himself. Thomas had five catches for 45 yards, Ted Ginn had four catches for 53 yards and Tommylee Lewis had the biggest play of the group with a 52-yard reception. And the opponent for the Saints gets tougher in mindset for Week 2 as they are set to take on the New England Patriots. Wide receiver Brandin Cooks will draw plenty of attention, but with slot receiver Danny Amendola out, Tom Brady will likely look to Gronkowski early and often. Brees actually has a winning record against the Patriots, and there's no doubt that he will give it his all tomorrow afternoon.

"This review identified no evidence of any deviation from the Protocol by the Patriots" medical staff or the Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultants assigned to Patriots' games or any indication that Mr. Brady sustained a concussion or reported signs or symptoms consistent with having sustained a concussion, ' the NFL's statement read. But aside from 2008, when he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Patriots' opener, he's avoided serious injury. Surprisingly, even though Brady was drafted in 2000, and Brees was drafted in 2001, this will only be their third head to head matchup. And for the most part, it is.

Brady also addressed his notoriously specific diet with CBS.

"I'm driving to work the next day (thinking) who was that, let's see the report", Payton said.

Prediction: A huge upset is bound to happen, but to play it safe, the Patriots will beat the Saints 35-30. Kickoff is at 12:00 p.m. CST.
