Richard Sherman (hamstring) expected to play against 49ers

17 September 2017

Sherman, in fact, has never missed a game since coming to Seattle in 2011 and appears ready to go for Sunday after taking part in all of Friday's practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday with a hamstring injury.

Rawls missed the final three games of the 2015 regular season with a broken ankle. (Seattle officially listed Sherman as having been limited in practice).

RENTON Pete Carroll used to share with John Lynch all kinds of wisdom and philosophies on how he remade the Seahawks into a Super Bowl champion.

"He did have to play through some", Carroll said. "His attitude about being injured and whether he could play or not is so far off-the-charts courageous, determined and committed". The Seahawks offense will likely be looking to open up offensively and get Doug Baldwin more involved in Wilson's plans, and the 49ers secondary could be in for a lot of suffering on the day. Look for Kam and Earl to establish a physical tone early, limit big plays, and help the younger corners against a suspect 49ers receiving core. "He looked good today".

If an upset does take place, though, it will focus on five key matchups.

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) Volume Spiking Mid-session
It dropped, as 63 investors sold JNJ shares while 834 reduced holdings. 114 funds opened positions while 731 raised stakes. Shareholders of record on Tuesday, August 29th were paid a dividend of $0.84 per share. (NASDAQ:HSIC) for 153,400 shares.

"We're anxious to see him play", Carroll said. "Very smart player, very savvy guy and he knows what he is doing". And with Seattle's offensive line having its hands full as is, that would present another challenge. The expectation is Thomas Rawls will play after sitting out the opener while recovering from a high ankle sprain. "We went to him in critical situations and they did a nice job of covering him and there is a couple of things we could have done better". "He's been such a fun player to watch". Seattle might just use this game, one they're expected to win easily, as an audition process.

But the 49ers still appear as beatable, if not also as bendable, as any team on the Seahawks' schedule, having lost 18 of their past 21 games and a year ago setting team records for defensive futility. He hired former Seahawks assistant coach Robert Saleh to bring in a defense similar to Seattle's. Two Packers hit Graham during the play, but officials failed to call pass interference. "I didn't get a chance to talk to him after practice but that's something I'll do this afternoon and I'm hoping for the best come Sunday".

These two teams have a history of playing tight, physical games and the last meeting was decided by just two points.

The ejection received criticism from many, including Fox analyst and former National Football League head of officiating Mike Pereira, who said the replays never showed Lane drawing a punch toward Adams.

"I think you always have to be careful with hamstrings", Shanahan said. That conversation about the specifics of it - I told you I thought the (TV) guys calling the game saw it pretty clearly.
