Laura Simpson insists 'nothing happened' on night out with Wayne Rooney

Neither Rooney nor his wife have officially spoken about the incident, although Coleen has moved out of the family's £6million home and has twice been seen out without her wedding ring since her husband's arrest.

Coleen also posted a photo of herself with journalist and Cilla Black's friend Pete Price, who tweeted: "Loved Cilla again". He was in the auto with 29-year-old single mum Laura Simpson at the time.

The smiling star looked radiant in a floral shirt as she posed up with a pal on one of her few outings since the news broke.

Holly took a hard line of questioning, as she said: "You got in a vehicle with a married man".

"I was two or three drinks down at that point". But the office worker said the claims were "very inaccurate". I knew who Wayne was, we were just interacting.

He had five catches for 122 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown catch to open the game. Samuel was injured in the third quarter of South Carolina's 23-13 loss to Kentucky.

We're glad to see Coleen isn't letting this latest drama with Wayne stop her from getting out there. I didn't have my eye on him.

The source added that Coleen reportedly wasn't impressed with Laura's TV appearance or her "changing story" saying 'She still thinks Wayne was in the wrong - but for the first time it seems he has some light at the end of the tunnel'. "I would never do that".

Laura Simpson, who had previously quoted as saying the pair had shared a "kiss and a cuddle", also denied the reports she had her eye on the footballer on the night. I was a couple of drinks down.

'It wasn't discussed as to what would happen'.

When quizzed on This Morning on how her and the footballer ended up in her vehicle together, Laura explained: "We just got a cab, it was a whirlwind, we just ended up at my auto from getting out of the cab". Phillip retorted: "You bloody would!" My wife would be all over you, that's for sure'. "It would be in the newspapers". "Basically I asked her to give me a call. I've done nothing wrong".

"I do regret the damage it's causing obviously, but from a level from me, I don't think I deserve everything that I'm getting."
"I meant he doesn't deserve (the grief of it all) and I wouldn't (break up with) if it was my partner", she continued.
