Coby Fleener caught the only touchdown toss, after the 2-minute warning.

That home is inside the newly built US Bank Stadium playing for Minnesota, where Bradford has enjoyed the best 16 games of his career thus far.

"Thielen spent the majority of his time inside in the slot against the Saints, catching multiple deep crossing targets and bringing in nine of the ten passes thrown his way, trailing only Antonio Brown in receiving yards after week one". His offensive line, which struggled a year ago, gave him plenty of time to execute, and it showed with his 84.4% completion percentage, 346 passing yards, and three touchdowns.

"I think he can", said Joe Theismann, a former Washington Redskins all-pro quarterback.

The Saints had three unnecessary roughness calls in the first half. His night also included some highlight reel worthy grabs.

Cook posted 15.2 FanDuel points after being projected for 11.4. Bradford and Cook were the primary beneficiaries of the work done by an offensive line with four new starters and plenty of old external skepticism after a lacklustre 2016 performance.

In any event, the star young running back served up chicken and shrimp lo mein, both of which were very much to the liking of the family.

"He's comfortable around everyone now", Rudolph said, "and we're able to see that shine through".

According to the NFL, Bradford and Kansas City's Alex Smith became the first quarterbacks in league history to complete 80 percent of their passes, throw for at least 325 yards and have at least three touchdowns with no interceptions in their opening game. Then right tackle Zach Strief injured his left leg in the second quarter, forcing Senio Kelemete into action.

Minnesota defeated the Saints 29-19 during the contest, but the performances of three players from the Vikings caught the eye of Pro Football Focus, who placed them on their Team of the Week on the official PFF website.

The Vikings defensive was stellar in the red zone.

After a day off the Vikings returned to practice Wednesday in preparation for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, and Bradford was listed as a limited participant due to a knee injury.
